Smart Lighting Control in Dubai
Plan compatible dimming, keypads, scenes, and selected sensors around the lighting design in your home or office.

The right light for every moment
Lighting that supports
the way you use each room.
Lighting control should make a room easier to use while supporting its atmosphere and purpose. A dining scene, a working setting, and a low-light evening routine can each involve different groups of lights and control preferences.
Reels Smart Technologies designs lighting control for Dubai homes and workplaces. The fittings, drivers, circuits, desired dimming behaviour, and control platform should be reviewed together so that the finished installation works as intended.

Choose the functions that matter
Fittings, scenes, sensors,
and clear controls.
Dimming and fixture compatibility
Check the actual lamps, fittings, and drivers against the proposed controls. A dimmable label alone does not establish the quality of the result with every dimmer or control method.
Keypads and simple scenes
Combine supported lighting groups into useful scenes and choose clear keypad layouts. Certain products offer labeling or status indications; confirm which functions are available for the selected hardware.
Sensors and schedules
Suitable occupancy, daylight, and scheduling functions can reduce unnecessary operation and make circulation areas easier to use. Their behaviour should be configured around the room and tested with real use.
Color and integrated settings
Color-changing or adjustable-white functions need compatible light sources and controls. Selected lighting scenes may also connect with shades, entertainment, or wider automation where supported.
Start with a clear scope
Match the fittings.
Plan the controls.
Start with the lighting schedule
Share the fixture list, circuit plan, driver details, and required dimming behaviour. Early coordination helps avoid controls being selected separately from the lighting equipment.
Choose practical controls
Think about entrances, bedsides, desks, and other locations where users need predictable access. A small set of understandable scenes can be more useful than a complicated interface.
Coordinate installation and testing
Review wiring, control locations, interfaces, and the desired scene behaviour before finishes are fixed. Test the specified dimming and control functions with the actual fittings used in the project.
Share the property layout, your existing equipment, and the functions you want. These details help the team assess a practical scope and explain the work, products, and support included in a proposal.

Useful answers before you choose
Your questions,
answered clearly.
Will every LED dim correctly with a smart dimmer?
No. Lamp and driver compatibility should be checked with the selected dimmer or control method. Manufacturer guidance and appropriate testing help identify combinations that operate as expected.
Can I control lighting from a phone?
Some platforms support app control, subject to the controller, network, account setup, and installed devices. Confirm the local and remote functions included in the design.
Can one button control several lights?
A supported lighting scene can group selected circuits or fixtures. The proposal should explain which lights are included and whether the button also triggers other compatible systems.
Can the system change color or light warmth?
Only with compatible light sources, drivers, and controls. Ordinary fixed-color fittings do not gain color-changing functions simply because a smart control system is installed.
Is lighting automation possible in an existing property?
A retrofit assessment can review circuits, wiring, fittings, switch locations, and the intended functions. The practical solution depends on what can be retained and the work needed for the chosen controls.
Can sensors and schedules lower electricity use?
They can help avoid unnecessary lighting operation when appropriately selected and configured. Results depend on the property, lighting equipment, occupancy, daylight, and actual use; a fixed saving should not be assumed.
